“Josh Gordon with the reception, wide open in the endzone!”
No, you’re not having flashbacks to 2013. Josh Gordon is still playing football, and in Seattle no less. However, it is as a member of the XFL’s Seattle Sea Dragons.
In the XFL, there are a few experimental rules you won’t see in the NFL (yet) and one is a 3-point conversion. Teams have the option after a touchdown to line up at the 10-yard line and have the ability to earn an extra three points if they successfully convert. For Seattle, Josh Gordon came up big.

The play that preceded Gordon’s conversion was a 54-yard touchdown strike from quarterback Ben DiNucci to receiver Jahcour Pearson.
