Jacksonville Jaguars pass rusher Josh Allen was an All-American during his time at Kentucky so he wasn’t too happy to be wearing an Ole Miss hat in the locker room Thursday.
Allen, 25, was sporting the hat after losing a bet with Jaguars tight end Evan Engram, who was a two-time All-SEC selection at Ole Miss. On Saturday, Kentucky quarterback Will Levis fumbled in the red zone with less than a minute left in the fourth quarter, sealing a 22-19 win for Ole Miss.
In the Jaguars locker room, Allen tried to get away with wearing both an Ole Miss hat and a Kentucky hat, but Engram wasn’t having it.

Engram told Mia O’Brien of 1010XL that he was the one who initiated the bet with Allen because he’s “really confident in what Lane [Kiffin]’s been doing” with Ole Miss.
The consolation for Allen is that the loss only moved his Wildcats down from No. 7 in the AP Poll to No. 13. Ole Miss climbed from No. 14 to No. 9.
