After trading buckets with the Boston Celtics throughout the first half, the Golden State Warriors used an explosive third quarter to build a commanding lead in Game 2 of the NBA Finals.
Following a two-point halftime lead, Golden State’s advantage ballooned to 23 points before the start of the final frame. Jordan Poole put an exclamation point on the Warriors’ fiery third-quarter run with a long-distance jumper at the end of the quarter. With seconds ticking away, Poole pulled up from just inside the halfcourt line for a must-see buzzer-beater.
Following Poole’s clutch triple from way beyond the arc, Steph Curry embraced his teammate in celebration.
