Jason Whitens has been thrusted into a role with Michigan State basketball this season due to several injuries within the team. Whitens is someone who was ready for the task, and has stepped up to the challenge.
Whitens has had a remarkable journey to Michigan State, first being a native of the upper peninsula, and then spending four years at Western Michigan before transferring to MSU.
