It’s been quite some time since we’ve seen Jameson Williams run on a football field. The Lions first-round rookie wideout hasn’t done it for a public audience since he tore his ACL while at Alabama last winter.
That has now changed. Williams posted a clip of him running some shuttle routes inside the Lions indoor training facility to his Instagram story on Saturday. Williams runs 10 yards and back, then another 5-yard shuttle before trotting off camera.
Williams has been pretty quiet in terms of showing what he’s doing in his rehab. He’s done very little outside of light jogs during practices, under the watchful eyes of the Lions training staff. So seeing something like this is a great glimpse at where Williams is at as he efforts to get back onto the football field.

Thanks to Lions Fan Report for extracting the video from Williams’ Instagram story, which expires after 24 hours.
Williams is currently on the reserve/NFI list, which means the speedy rookie is out for the first four games. He had his ACL surgery on January 11th.
