James Tavernier would have been pleased to see Rangers' derby success at the weekend - but he also had his own to celebrate.
Following on from his old club's resounding victory over Celtic at Ibrox, Tavernier started as Maccabi Tel Aviv took on Hapoel in a city derby - and ended up on the right side of a 4-1 scoreline.
The former Ibrox captain started at right back for Kenny Miller's side and played 76 minutes, but did not get on the scoresheet.

He was still jubilant post-match though and his club posted a clip of him clapping away in celebration before high-fiving a staff member. It was captioned: "James' first derby win in Israel."
It was the 34-year-old's second appearance for his new club after playing for 69 minutes against Hapoel Beer Sheva on the very same day he signed.
