Jacob Harris is far from a household name in Jacksonville, but the Jaguars wide receiver gave fans reason to remember him Saturday night when he hauled in a highlight reel reception against the Dallas Cowboys.
With two Cowboys defensive backs covering him deep, Harris laid out for a diving reception that initially appeared to be a touchdown, but was later ruled down at the 4-yard line.

Harris, 26, began his career with the Los Angeles Rams after he was picked in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL draft. He was listed as both a wide receiver and a tight end, at times, by the Rams, but struggled through injuries early in his career and wasn’t brought back after the 2022 season.
In May, the Jaguars added Harris after he impressed during a tryout at the team’s rookie minicamp.
With a loaded wide receiver corps in Jacksonville headlined by Calvin Ridley, Christian Kirk, and Zay Jones, landing a roster spot with the Jaguars will be a tall task for Harris. Moments like his ridiculous grab against Dallas will help his cause, though.
