The New England Patriots started things off quickly defensively against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. Josh Allen was intercepted by the defense, with New England already ahead by a 3-0 margin.
Buffalo was starting the game on their first drive offensively. Allen threw a deep ball, and Jabrill Peppers was able to get underneath the pass for the interception.
It was Allen’s 86th turnover since the 2018 season, which is the highest mark in the NFL.
Peppers has had a solid couple weeks. He unleashed a big hit against Las Vegas Raiders wideout Davante Adams last week that caused a pop-up interception. The interception on Sunday was his first of the season.

It will be interesting to see if the Patriots can continue to build on their early momentum against a Bills team viewed as a likely playoff contender.
