Suffolk police have urged people to check gardens, outbuildings, and home CCTV devices in the hunt for missing 3-year-old Noah Woods.
Motorists near Brantham yesterday afternoon were also encouraged to review car dashcam footage for evidence of the missing boy, who was last seen at a playground in Merriam Close at 3pm on Tuesday before becoming separated from a relative.
“There is nothing to indicate anything sinister or any element of criminality has taken place, although we keep an open mind as to the circumstances,” Superintendent Tom Pearse said at press conference this afternoon.
Hundreds of locals have joined the search for Noah, who has now been missing for around 24 hours.
Noah’s father had previously urged volunteers to widen their search, saying he “cannot go another night knowing he’s out there alone”.
Noah, who is mildly autistic and has partial hearing loss, is reported to have run off down an alleyway beside the playground towards a new-build housing estate.
He is white with curly, ginger hair and was last seen wearing a white t-shirt with the TV character Bluey on, shorts and black Vans trainers with a white stripe.
Police said specially trained officers and dog units have been searching the village, and have been supported by helicopters.
