Watch: Igor Tudor ends tense Sky Sports interview early after Tottenham earn draw at Liverpool

Tense: Igor Tudor - (SkySports)

Igor Tudor was involved in a spicy post-match interview with Sky Sports following Tottenham’s draw against Liverpool.

Tudor, who had overseen four straight defeats in his first four games as Spurs interim head coach, was able to put a stop to the losing run at Anfield on Sunday.

Tottenham fell behind in the 18th minute to a Dominik Szoboszlai’s free-kick but stayed in the game and deservedly equalised in the 90th minute with Richarlison’s scuffed effort.

After the game, Tudor was quizzed about his future by Sky Sports reporter Patrick Davison as there were strong rumours that he would be sacked if Spurs had been beaten by Liverpool.

"Have you shown that you can provide that hope? That you don't need a new manager?” Davison asked.

To which Tudor responded by insisting that head coaches should not have to answer such questions.

“In every club in the world, it is the same [as Tottenham] when there is not a good result,” Tudor said.

“The change of coach gives 'hope' but the problem stays.

“The coach needs to solve the problem.

"Journalists like to ask these questions but it doesn't make sense. The coaches are obliged to ask these questions, otherwise they like to stay at home.

“You insist with the same questions."

The post-match interview ended rather abruptly with Tudor asking “Are we finished or not?” before being exiting to fulfil his other media obligations.

Tottenham are next in action on Wednesday night, facing Atletico Madrid in the second leg of their Champions League last-16 showdown at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Trailing 5-2 from the first leg, Spurs must score at least three times just to force extra-time, while a 4-0 win would complete an epic comeback.
