The United States Air Force has given people a view of a B52 mission over Europe this month as exercises continue after Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The footage of the strategic bomber comes from a routine and planned mission, the USAF said.
In the video released by the USAF, you can see a a B52H Stratofortress during a Bomber Task Force mission that saw the aircraft link with Nato allies. Romania, Greek and Italian planes were all involved on the exercise, which took place on March 7, 2022.
B-52 Stratofortress aircraft from the 5th Bomb Wing, Minot AFB, North Dakota conducted what are called integration flights after taking off from RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire. They initially teamed up with Romanian Joint Terminal Attack Controllers. Before returning to base, they flew with aircraft from Italy and Greece.
