Watch highlights MSU basketball’s dominant road win over Minnesota

Michigan State went on the road for the first time this year and took care of business.

The Spartans made easy work of Minnesota on Wednesday night in its Big Ten season-opener. Michigan State led nearly the entire 40 minutes en route to a 90-72 victory.

Michigan State was led in scoring by Coen Carr, who finished the night with 12 points. Jaxon Kohler recorded his third double-double of the season with 11 points and 11 rebounds, and Xavier Booker and Jeremy Fears also reached double-figures in scoring.

With the win, Michigan State improved to 7-2 overall on the year and 1-0 in Big Ten play. The Spartans will next host Nebraska on Saturday from the Breslin Center.
