Brandin Podziemski has been one of the bright spots in an inconsistent start to the season for the Golden State Warriors. The rookie wing has impressed Steve Kerr enough to earn himself a spot in the starting lineup.
Podziemski’s performances aren’t the only thing that has impressed, though. Multiple veterans have commented on his eagerness to learn and improve, which has also earned him respect within the roster.
Still, his on-court production has ensured Podziemski remains in the Warriors starting rotation. He’s bringing energy, reliable scoring, ball-handling and an infectious commitment to crashing the glass on both ends of the floor. In the 25 games he’s played, Podziemski is averaging 8.9 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.1 assists, shooting 46.2% from the field and 40.5% from 3-point range.
The rookie has been so impressive the Warriors YouTube channel recently released a highlights package from his early season performances.
