The man who dared the security ring and breached it to hug Virat Kohli during the second T20I between India and Afghanistan at the Holkar Stadium in Indore received a hero's welcome from his friends after the local police released him from detention.
The fan, who became a viral sensation on social media after managing to reach Kohli in the middle of the match, was immediately taken away by security officials, but not before he could embrace his favourite cricketer, who is revered world over, and touch his feet.
