NEW DELHI: Star India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja fondly recalled the moment when Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni embraced and lifted him after his stellar performance guided CSK to their record fifth title by defeating the Gujarat Titans in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 final.
In the crucial 15th and final over of the match, CSK found themselves in a precarious situation, requiring 10 runs off the last two balls. It was then that the seasoned Jadeja turned the tide in his team's favor, smashing medium-pacer Mohit Sharma for a six and a four.
