Watch: Harry Redknapp offers up some advice for double-winners Dervock FC

Harry Redknapp has offered some advice to Dervock FC to turn them from Double winners to Treble winners next season!

The north Antrim club, who play in the Coleraine and District League, won the Morning League and League Cup last season.

It was almost a treble haul but they lost out to Portrush in the final of the McKendry Fabrications Cup final.

But former Tottenham boss Redknapp has offered the Dervock lads some advice to go and win the heap next term.

Corey Simpson, who plays for the Paddy's Park outfit, bumped into Redknapp at George Best City Airport at the weekend and he thought he couldn't miss the opportunity to pick the brains of one of the most experienced coaches to have managed in the Premier League.

The 76-year-old was only too happy to pass on his congratulations to the club and offer up some tips to go one better next season!

"Guys at Dervock FC well done last season on winning the Double," said Redknapp.

"Next year we want the Treble like Man City.

"Come on guys no more late nights, no drinking and no sex. Train harder!"

Redknapp's message may have only been tongue in cheek, but Corey was delighted he was such a good sport taking time to pass his well-wishes on to the club.

"I just wanted to send a video into the group chat with the other players," explained Corey.

"I didn’t want to bother him but saw how happy he was taking photos and stuff so went over.

"He was class, he came up with the sex and drink line himself."
