The Seattle Seahawks opened the NFL season with a punch to the gut right off the bat. Instead of starting the year with a widely-expected victory, they were blown out by their division rivals to the tune of 30-13.
Linebacker Bobby Wagner opened practice this week with a fiery speech to the team. When your squad is humiliated like that, teams need their leaders to step up and refocus everyone. Wagner reminded everyone why he is, yet again, a team captain.

Perhaps the only truly positive takeaway overall from their Week 1 loss is the fact the Seahawks would be considerably hard pressed to have a worse outing. Hopefully, it’s all up from there, and Wagner’s words are taken to heart.
