Former Georgia Bulldogs standout receiver Terry Godwin continues to make great catches. Godwin, who made an outstanding one-handed catch against Notre Dame in college, has bounced around the NFL throughout his career. Now, he is plays for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the CFL.
The Carolina Panthers drafted Godwin in the seventh round of the 2019 NFL draft. Godwin found a home with the Jacksonville Jaguars from 2019-2021. He caught three passes for 32 yards during that time. In 2022, he was waived by the Tennessee Titans ahead of the start of the 2022 NFL season.
Godwin is getting more playing time in the CFL. The 5-foot-11, 185-pound receiver caught six passes for 107 yards in two starts for Hamilton last year.

Godwin’s one-handed snag in the CFL was a cleaner reception than his catch against Notre Dame, but his overall catch against the Fighting Irish in 2017 was more impressive:
Trailing in the second quarter at Notre Dame in 2017, #UGA scores on a spectacular, Jake Fromm-to-Terry Godwin 5-yard touchdown to tie the game at 10-10.
