But, while players from both teams may have not been pleased by the outcome (particularly the English contingent), a large group of fans watching across the pond decided to take their frustration out in their own way.
Video shared on Twitter by London news show First Edition with Tom Newton Dunn captured the moment a buzzing crowd of England supporters reacted to the scoreless finish while watching from a fan zone in London.
Shortly after the final whistle blew, the energy in the room immediately shifted from focused to frantic. Many fans began booing the outcome while others started chucking their drinks in the air, prompting several people to break out ponchos in hopes of shielding themselves.
