The Atlanta Falcons made it tough, but they the got the job done in overtime as Kirk Cousins connected with KhaDarel Hodge on a 45-yard touchdown pass to clinch Thursday night’s 36-30 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
After tying the game on the final play of regulation, the Falcons got the ball first and finished the Bucs off. Hodge’s quick turn inside allowed for him to race through the Buccaneers defense and escape for the game-winning score.
Cousins finished the game with 509 passing yards and the Falcons are now lead the NFC South with a 3-2 record. Watch Hodge’s game-winning touchdown reception as shared by the Falcons’ Twitter account below:

Hodge finished Thursday’s win with two catches for 67 yards and a touchdown. After the game, teammate Drake London complimented Hodge’s work ethic.
“He works hard, he keeps his head down, he just works hard,” London said about Hodge. “And two, he’s someone that I can learn from as well. 12 shined tonight and I’m happy for him.”
