The Falcons got their first look at quarterback Michael Penix Jr. on Friday night. After a slow start, the offense came alive and Penix led the team on a touchdown drive.
The rookie finished the game with 104 passing yards and made some impressive throws in the first half. With Kirk Cousins entering the season as the uncontested starter, the preseason may be the only time we see Penix this year.
