After a slow start that resulted in an 11-point deficit for the Golden State Warriors against the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday night, Steve Kerr turned to Jonathan Kuminga off the bench for a spark. The third-year wing delivered that spark and more against the Trail Blazers at Chase Center.
Behind Kuminga and a late barrage of points from Steph Curry, the Warriors swung momentum back their way on the way to a comeback effort against the Trail Blazers.
With the Warriors attempting to close out the Blazers and complete the comeback, Draymond Green looked to Kuminga for one final haymaker. With just over a minute left on the clock and the Warriors clinging to a two-point lead, Green found Kuminga for an explosive lob dunk at the rim.
Kuminga’s dunk helped set Chase Center into a frenzy while extending Golden State’s tight lead over Portland.

Although he only played in the second half, Kuminga finished with 13 points of the bench on a perfect 6-of-6 shooting from the field in Golden State’s 110-106 comeback win over Portland on Wednesday.
