The New England Patriots and Indianapolis Colts had some offensive fireworks to start Sunday’s game.
Quarterback Drake Maye made one of the biggest plays of the day for the Patriots with a huge running play that put the team in Indy’s territory.
Maye made the most of a collapsing pocket by scrambling behind the left guard for 41 yards. He weaved his way through Colts defenders, setting the Patriots up in good field position. The drive ended with a field goal, but Maye once again showed off his explosive running ability.

We have seen the rookie quarterback run the ball several times this season, and it’s clearly an important part of his game. It has opened things up in a major way for a Patriots team with a struggling offensive line.
Maye buying time with his legs and making plays happen has been the best avenue of success for New England.
