New England Patriots rookie quarterback Drake Maye threw the first touchdown pass of his career on Sunday afternoon before entering the locker room for halftime.
The North Carolina product was finding his footing throughout much of the first half. However, he was able to connect with wide receiver Kayshon Boutte for the score.
The drive itself took five plays, 84 yards and 48 seconds off the clock. He dropped the pass in the bucket to Boutte, who took it 40 yards for the touchdown.
There were some initial nerves at first, but Maye looked to be settling in nicely later in the game.
