What DeMar DeRozan says, he means.
After shooting 6-of-25 in Chicago’s Game 1 loss, DeRozan vowed to not shoot that poorly again. “No way in hell I shoot 6-of-25 again.”
And he didn’t.
In Game 2, Deebo bounced back and scored a playoff career-high 41 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 assists to lift the Bulls over the Bucks, 114-110, to tie the series up 1-1.
DeRozan shot 16-of-31 from the field while also hitting all 9 free throw attempts. He was aggressive at getting to his spots and not letting defenders like Jrue Holiday dictate where he attacked on the floor.
