The Kansas City Chiefs’ Thursday workouts featured several big plays by receivers at all levels of their depth chart, but none were more impressive than Justyn Ross’ magnificent sliding catch after a pass from Blaine Gabbert.
Kansas City Sports Network had a great view of the action and posted a video of the grab to Twitter shortly after it occurred on the practice field at Missouri Western State University.

It seems that Ross’ brilliance on the gridiron knows no bounds, and in the Chiefs’ second week of training camp, the promising young receiver should be considered Kansas City’s fastest-rising young talent.
Plays like this have become routine for him during the Chiefs’ workouts, and it won’t be long before he has a chance to show fans what he can do in live action during Kansas City’s first preseason game next week.
Watch for Ross to burst onto the scene in each of the Chiefs’ exhibition games to earn his place on the team’s 53-man roster ahead of the regular season.
