The Kansas City Chiefs overcame a 14-point deficit to even the score against the Las Vegas Raiders just before halftime in Week 12. After second-year star Isiah Pacheco scored the team’s first touchdown on a rush near the goal line, Kansas City’s defense gave Patrick Mahomes a chance to tie the game before halftime.
The NFL’s reigning MVP would do his part to get the Chiefs back in the game when he found veteran wide receiver Justin Watson for a touchdown with just under 30 seconds remaining in the second quarter.

Watson made a rookie mistake after the big catch, drawing an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty after exchanging words with a Raider as part of his touchdown celebration.
While this play created some positive momentum for Kansas City, the outcome of this game is still very much in question. The Chiefs have come out flat through two quarters, and Las Vegas looks primed to play the spoiler as Kansas City fights to keep its hopes of earning the AFC’s top playoff seed alive.
