Kansas City Chiefs rookie RB Deneric Prince appears to be making the absolute most of his downtime this offseason.
While players are still away from the team ahead of training camp, Prince has been hard at work training on his own time. He recently stopped in to work with teammate Keondre Coburn and former Chiefs RB Derrick Blaylock at Armed Sports Performance. Now, he’s getting some work in with a private RB coach in the Houston, Texas area.
Harold “Coach T” Taylor at Taylormade 360 Elite Training, shared some clips of Prince working with him on social media this Friday. Prince appears to be going through some footwork, agility and avoidance drills. Taylor even had him working on his spin move a bit.
Prince certainly looks ready to come in and make his mark during training camp and the preseason. He saw with Isiah Pacheco last season that the Chiefs will play the best players regardless of draft status. Making some noise over the course of the next two months could be key to landing a spot on the 53-man roster.
