After breaking off a long run earlier in the first half against the Cleveland Browns, Kansas City Chiefs running back La’Mical Perine scored an amazing touchdown late in the second quarter to get his team back within striking range heading into halftime.
Perine’s exceptional touchdown scamper came after he caught a pass from quarterback Blaine Gabbert just outside of the red zone as Kansas City drove down the field against the Browns’ impressive defense.

He broke three tackles on his way to paydirt and scored despite the flag that came in near the end of his nifty run. This touchdown cut Kansas City’s deficit to just six points after they were down by 19 points earlier in the game.
Perine has been among the Chiefs’ most productive players in this matchup and may have earned himself a spot on Kansas City’s 53-man roster after proving his worth with this marvelous performance.
