The Kansas City Chiefs extended their winning streak to four games in Week 5 against the Minnesota Vikings, and are headed into their Thursday night tilt against the Denver Broncos with momentum on their side.
Though their latest victory is in the books, a video of running back Jerick McKinnon’s sideline persona hit social media on Monday, which took Chiefs Kingdom by storm.

In the short clip, McKinnon can be seen providing Reid with some pre-game encouragement before Kansas City’s kickoff in Minnesota. McKinnon’s larger-than-life personality was evident in this brief conversation with the long-tenured head coach, and the interaction made for a great moment of levity before the Chiefs’ grind-it-out road win in the Land of 10,000 Lakes.
Expect McKinnon to continue bringing his patently positive presence to each of Kansas City’s matchups in the coming weeks as the Chiefs make a midseason push to separate themselves from their capable competition in the AFC.
