The Kansas City Chiefs defense has been absolutely dominant through five weeks of the 2023 season and wasted no time making their presence felt against the Denver Broncos on Thursday night.
After missing two games due to injury, budding linebacker Nick Bolton got involved early in the Chiefs’ matchup against Denver, snagging an interception off the arm of Russell Wilson midway through the first quarter.

Bolton’s return was a welcome sign for Chiefs fans who have grown accustomed to his steady presence in the middle of Kansas City’s defense, and he came through in a huge way with his effort on this play.
The Chiefs would throw their own interception on the ensuing drive, so Kansas City hasn’t pulled away from the lowly Broncos just yet. Expect Bolton to continue getting involved throughout the game as he makes his way back from an injury he sustained in Week 2 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
