Chiefs Kingdom is excited about second-year receiver Justyn Ross and the Kansas City Chiefs know it.
On Wednesday, the Chiefs shared some images and videos on Twitter from Patrick Mahomes’ recent throwing session with receivers down in Texas. The lone video they shared featuring a receiver was a video of Ross. In the clip shared, Ross is seen snatching a pass out of the air above his head with a full-arm extension. It wasn’t like the other video that got out there on social media where Ross let the ball into his body a bit and didn’t catch it quite as cleanly.
This former undrafted free agent out of Clemson is a player that fans are paying close attention to this offseason. He spent the entire 2022 NFL season on injured reserve after having surgery to repair a nagging foot injury. The latest videos seem to indicate that Ross is fully recovered and back to his pre-injury form, but they’ll want to see it for themselves at training camp and during the preseason.
For now, however, the hype train will keep rolling with these clips shared by both Mahomes’ people and the team.
