Watch Camila Cabello turn Scottish as she is interviewed on Radio Clyde

Camila Cabello tried out her best Scottish accent as she was interviewed on Radio Clyde.

Pop star Camila was talking to Boogie and Arlene on Clyde 1 about her new single Bam Bam with Ed Sheeran and other new music when she told them of her love for Scotland.

The singer even branded the country 'gorgeous' as she tried some of the local lingo.

She said in her best attempt: "I love a Scottish accent."

And she repeated Boogie's question and answer in 'Scottish' saying: Was that your best Scottish accent. Thats actually pretty good. Do you have any Scottish ancestry?"

"I don't have any Scottish Ancestry but it is one of my favourite accents. I love it so much.

"I love Scotland. It's absolutely gorgeous."

Following her attempt, Clyde 1 posted on social media: "We love you @Camila_Cabello BUT, there’s nothing worse than someone trying to do a Scottish accent."

Fans were impressed with Camilla's attempt with one saying: "I make an exception to this rule for her Cuban-Mexican Scottish accent. It sounds just right to me."

Another added: " love her so much, she’s so funny!"

Camila's new album Familia is released on April 8.

She recently took part in ITV's concert for Ukraine and said: “We’re all praying tonight for the peace and the safety of the people in the Ukraine.

"Thank you guys so much for being part of this important fundraiser."
