If your favorite NFL team needs a new franchise quarterback in next year’s draft, Alabama’s Bryce Young should be at the top of their list.
Locked in a slugfest with LSU on the road Saturday night, Young once again flashed the rare playmaking ability that should make him a star at the next level.
His best play of the night came with just under five minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, with the Crimson Tide trailing by two points. Young changed direction multiple times in the pocket, making a handful of LSU defenders whiff before launching a perfect strike downfield for a 41-yard touchdown to give Bama the lead:

Throw away any concerns you might have about Young’s size; he’s a dynamic playmaker at the game’s most important position, and should be locked into the conversation for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft.
