High end fashion retailer Brown Thomas has officially opened its Dundrum Town Centre store with shoppers heading along to check out what it was all about.
The store, which will be used as a launch pad for a range of new services by the brand, spans two floors of the old House of Fraser outlet with a €12m refit by Brown Thomas.
Dublin Live visited the brand new store to see what was on offer. Customers can expect the usual favourite brands such as Levi, Kylie Skincare and Tom Ford as well as a host of new services by the retailer.
One of those services is Rent It!, a designer dress rental service. Additionally, the store will also be home to Full Circle, a scheme that will allow customers to swap old handbags for store vouchers and luxury goods repair and recycling.
With Rent It, a dress that might cost €1,000 to purchase brand new can be rented for about €148 for four days or €198 for eight days, The Irish Times reports.
The new Dundrum store also sees Brown Thomas introduce health and beauty services such as vitamin treatments administered by intravenous drip and a beauty makeover section.
Speaking to Dublin Live at the opening of Brown Thomas in Dundrum, Suzanne Traynor of cosmetic brand Morphe said: "We are originally an online brand but you can now locate it at the counter in the three locations, BT2 in Blachardstown, Arnotts in the city centre and now Brown Thomas in Dundrum."
"We're buzzing to get Morphe on the map in Ireland," she added.
