WATCH: Broncos use trick play for 49-yard pass vs. Steelers

The Denver Broncos drew up a trick play in the second quarter of Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers for a big 49-yard gain.

Broncos running back Javonte Williams took the snap from a Wildcat formation. Williams then gave the ball to wide receiver Courtland Sutton, who tossed it back to quarterback Bo Nix. The rookie QB then threw a 49-yard pass to wide receiver Josh Reynolds.

Here’s video of the play, courtesy of the team’s official Twitter/X page:

Unfortunately, Nix threw an interception two plays later. Denver trails Pittsburgh 10-0 in the third quarter.
