Jets cornerback Brandin Echols has helped plug the gap in the slot while Michael Carter II is out with an injury. He got himself into the highlight reel in a big way during Friday’s game against the Miami Dolphins with an interception returned for a touchdown off of Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.
Echols stepped in front of a pass intended for Dolphins (and former Jets) wide receiver Braxton Berrios and returned it 30 yards for the score.
