The Chicago Bears have had a number of standouts so far during training camp, and rookie running back Trestan Ebner is among them.
Ebner, a sixth-round selection, has showcased his playmaking ability and potential in this Bears offense. His speed and penchant for being a dual-threat in the run and passing game have some comparing him to former Bears running back Tarik Cohen, and we all remember how effective Cohen was when utilized correctly.
During Friday’s practice, Ebner had a few explosive runs during the 11-on-11 period, including this run captured by the Bears social media team where he made some elusive moves en route to the end zone.

While there’s no question that David Montgomery and Khalil Herbert will be the featured backs in Luke Getsy’s offense, Ebner is certainly making a case for RB3. Ebner is competing with newcomer Darrynton Evans, who’s also had his moments this summer.
