On Saturday, Team USA continued its tune-up ahead of the FIBA World Cup by taking on Slovenia in an exhibition contest.
Luka Doncic, the Dallas Mavericks superstar, did not play in the contest, and the Americans took advantage by routing Slovenia, 92-62.
Los Angeles Lakers standout Austin Reaves is on the Team USA roster, and the experience of playing in the FIBA World Cup will give him the opportunity to showcase his skills to a global audience. It could also help him arrive in training camp sharp, focused and in great shape.
He scored 10 points on Saturday, and he provided a few highlights during the game.
