Celtic winger Mikey Johnston scored his first goal for the Republic of Ireland last night in their 3-0 win over Gibraltar.
The 24-year-old was making his fourth appearance for the international side since changing his allegiance in March this year. He made his debut in the same month, coming on as a substitute in Ireland's 3-2 win over Latvia.

Following a deflected free-kick from Southampton's Will Smallbone, the ball came into Johnston's path, who slotted the ball past the Gibraltar goalkeeper to open the scoring in the 52nd minute.
Goals from Brighton's Evan Ferguson and Norwich's Adam Idah ensured that the three points were secured by the home side at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
Johnston spent last season on loan at Portugese side Vitoria de Guimaraes, where he made 31 appearances in all competitions. He scored three goals and assisted a further five, as he helped the side to a sixth-place finish in the Primera Liga.
The left-winger will be hoping for more of a look-in at Celtic next season due to the return of former manager Brendan Rodgers. It was Rodgers who gave Johnston his debut in May 2017, in a 4-1 win for the home side.
He faces stiff competition, however, with the likes of Jota, Sead Haksabanovic and Daizen Maeda all vying for the same position in the team.
Meanwhile, reports appear to have revealed Brendan Rodgers' Celtic salary and the transfer funds he will have at his disposal.
Celtic confirmed Rodgers had signed a three-year contract to replace Ange Postecoglou as manager, four years and four months after his sudden departure to Leicester after winning seven out of seven domestic trophies with the Hoops yesterday.
The announcement in the main has gone down well with Celtic fans but some quarters of the Hoops support have voiced their concerns.
Now a report in The Sun appears to have revealed the money that Rodgers will be on after his return to Parkhead was confirmed.
The story claims that he will be on nearly £3million a year in a record breaking contract that will run until 2026. The report also states that he will have a whopping balance of £30million to spend on transfers.
