During college, rookie safety Ronnie Hickman had a total of three career interceptions for Ohio State. In the past two preseason games for the Cleveland Browns Hickman now has three interceptions after another takeaway against the Philadelphia Eagles. After going undrafted this year it was an uphill battle for Hickman to make this roster but he is making a statement in the preseason that he should.
He continues to find a way to be in the right place at the right time and made an impressive scoop to keep the ball from hitting the ground before he could catch it. It’s a battle between Hickman and D’Anthony Bell for the final safety spot and right now Hickman may have the leg up on Bell.
