Aaron Donald notched his first sack of the day with a magnificent effort against the Dallas Cowboys’ left tackle in the first quarter of the Los Angeles Rams Week 5 matchup. Now that the seal is broken, Donald and the rest of the Rams’ defenders will look to keep harassing greenhorn quarterback Cooper Rush with consistency, making every effort to get their team back above .500.
Check out the big-time sack here, and noticed how outmatched left tackle Tyler Smith is when Donald pins his ears back in the pass rush:

This was one of Los Angeles’ first defensive stands of the game, and by far the most impressive play on that side of the ball for them so far. More Rams will need to get involved as the game wears on, but with Donald in rhythm early, their coaching staff should be able to scheme up more pressure to keep Dallas’ offense on their toes.
With injuries in their secondary affecting the coverage they deploy on every down, Los Angeles will rely on their pass rush to keep their defense functioning properly. It will take contributions from all phases of their unit to keep the Cowboys from pushing their lead any further.
