A successor to Alabama head coach Nick Saban has been targeted. The Crimson Tide are expected to hire Washington’s Kalen DeBoer.
It’s been a wild week in coaching circles. It started with Nick Saban retiring, sending college football fans into a frenzy. Despite a sad ending to the Rose Bowl, Saban rides into the sunset with an illustrious career that includes seven national titles.
Still, questions remained about who might be his successor. The internet has been swirling with rumors, including growing thoughts that the next coach of Alabama would be Oregon’s Dan Lanning. Instead, Washington Huskies coach Kalen DeBoer will reportedly follow in Nick Saban’s footsteps.
