One of the top quarterback prospects in the country won’t be making the jump to the pros just yet.
Washington’s Michael Penix Jr. is returning for the 2023 season, and won’t enter the 2023 NFL draft. He made his announcement late Sunday night via social media.
A transfer from Indiana, Penix leads the FBS in passing yards, and displayed all of the traits NFL teams are looking for in a franchise quarterback. He’ll once again be one of the top prospects at his position next year, and should have the Huskies competing for a Pac-12 title, and a potential playoff run.
