An NBA player dunking with San Antonio Spurs rookie Victor Wembanyama in the general vicinity has been a rare sight this season. But Golden State Warriors rookie forward Trayce Jackson-Davis did one better than that on Monday night.
The No. 57 pick from the 2023 draft put the No. 1 pick on a poster with one of the most impressive dunks of the year.
With 1:15 remaining in the game and Golden State holding an eight-point lead over San Antonio, Jackson-Davis took it straight to the basket with Wembanyama on him and viciously threw down a powerful one-handed dunk. It sent the Warriors bench into a frenzy, and even head coach Steve Kerr was seen in disbelief after witnessing the finish.

Kerr’s reaction, paired with the announcers completely losing their minds, matched the responses from social media.

The Warriors went on to pick up a 112–102 victory and Jackson-Davis logged 26 minutes off the bench while totaling 13 points, 10 rebounds and five assists in an impressive showing.
