Before opening a seven-game homestand with a tilt against the Detroit Pistons, the Golden State Warriors have recalled one of their rookies from their G League affiliate in Santa Cruz.
On Tuesday, the Warriors announced they have recalled rookie Moses Moody from G League Santa Cruz.

Since the start of January, Moody has played three games in the G League, scoring over 30 points in each contest. Against the Texas Legends on Friday, Moody tallied 32 points on 11-of-20 shooting from the field with six triples.
In eight appearances with the G League. the No. 14 overall pick from the 2021 NBA draft is averaging 27.5 points on 47.1% shooting from the floor with 5.5 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 1.2 assists in 31.9 minutes per game.
Moody will join the Warriors in time for a matchup with 2021 No. 1 overall pick Cade Cunningham. The pair of rookies were former teammates at Montverde Academy in Florida.
The Warriors and Pistons are set to tip-off at 7 p.m. PT at San Francisco’s Chase Center on Tuesday evening.
