Although they’ve been missing Steph Curry due to injury, one member of the Golden State Warriors has stepped up to answer the bell.
Through the last 10 games, Jordan Poole has been on a tear for the Warriors. On Wednesday night against the Miami Heat, he showed no signs of slowing down.
On the way to leading the shorthanded Warriors to an upset win over the Miami Heat, the Michigan Wolverines product dropped a game-high 30 points on 10-of-18 shooting from the floor with nine assists and four rebounds in 39 minutes.
Poole did his best Splash Brothers impersonation, hitting seven triples on 13 attempts from beyond the arc against the Heat.
After torching the Eastern Conference-leading Heat, Poole has now registered 11 consecutive games with 20 or more points. During that span, the 22-year-old guard is averaging 25.6 points on 54.6% shooting from the field with 4.9 assists, 3.3 rebounds and one assist in 34 minutes per game.
Poole is also shooting the 3-pointer especially well during his recent stretch, shooting 50.5% from deep on 9.2 triple attempts per game.

With Curry sidelined due to injury, the Warriors will need to continue leaning on Poole down the final stretch of the regular season. Poole will have the chance to continue his scoring streak on Friday against the Atlanta Hawks.
