People who own old paper £20 and £50 notes don't have long left to use them.
The paper notes will soon be discontinued and replaced with polymer notes. The Bank of England will be withdrawing the legal tender status of the older notes after September 30, 2022.
However, before this date, you can still spend your paper £20 or £50 bank notes in stores. You can also deposit them into your bank account, either at your local bank branch or Post Office, or swap them for polymer notes, reported The Mirror.
