A warning has been issued after "gangs of youths" continue to cause havoc in an area previously blighted by antisocial behaviour.
The ECHO reported earlier in the year how people living near The Duckeries, in St Helens, had been faced with gangs of teenagers leaving them "scared to leave their houses". Police issued a warning yesterday (October 30) as teenagers in the area reportedly caused damage to cars and buses.
Earlier this, year, Pearl Murdoch, 65, shared how she had suffered broken windows, doors, and graffiti being sprayed onto the side of her house, as well as abuse being hurled at the nan when she tried to challenge the yobs.

She told the ECHO : "I'm angry if anything, angry and upset, I've done prison work before with young people, and I can see where it's going for them. They're only babies, only 12, 13, 14.
"It's not just affecting me it's affecting the whole community. My windows have been smashed, shop windows have been smashed and it just really makes me upset. I try to look after my home, and people around here have bought their homes, they work hard for them."
October 30 is sometimes referred to as "mischief night" as teenagers often head out to cause damage and carry out pranks the night before Halloween. A statement from police said: "Calling to parents in the Parr area.
"We have had a number of incidents with groups of youths damaging properties, cars and buses in the Parr area particularly around the Duckeries. If your children are out this evening, please check in with them and get them home."
