People assume that it's safe to sit in the sun if it's through a window, and although that is partly true, there is still a danger to it.
As the warm weather and sun come out this weekend and into next week people will be soaking up as much sun as possible, and then heading inside for a break. While people may think when they move inside they are safe from the dangers of the rays coming down.
According to Healthline, it's unlikely that you will get a tan through a window but it often depends on the type of glass you are near. In older homes, there is less protection than in newer homes where they have newer glass which is thicker, double or triple paned, and some even coasted with a UV filter.
